How We Work

A phased, gate-checked approach to product realization that prioritizes validation over speculation.

Definition

The Box Creative Methodology

A structured product development lifecycle that utilizes explicit phase gates (EVT, DVT, PVT) to systematically identify and eliminate technical, financial, and market risks.

Phase 1: Discovery & Definition

We start by challenging assumptions. We build the "Paper Product" first, defining every requirement, constraint, and cost target before CAD begins.

Phase 2: Design & Engineering

The messy middle. We iterate rapidly through alpha prototypes and looks-like/works-like models. This is where the magic happens and the physics is wrestled into submission.

Phase 3: Validation (EVT / DVT)

Engineering Validation Test (EVT) proves it works. Design Validation Test (DVT) proves it can be made. We don't skip steps.

Phase 4: Production (PVT & Ramp)

Production Validation Test (PVT) proves it can be made fast and correctly. We stay on the line until yields hit targets.
